According to Kandace, "From the second he popped the question until the day of the wedding I never stopped planning or picturing what I wanted my wedding day to be. All my life I knew that I wanted an outdoor wedding and my whole life, my Dad always told me that I had to graduate college before I could tie any knots!!! So with that in mind as my graduation from TAMUCC fell on December 19, 2009, I realized that there was only one Saturday left in December, which was the 26th, so we looked to the next available Saturday which was January 2nd 2010. After thinking about it, we felt that that day would be perfect! Our anniversary has been the 1st since we started dating in 2006, but we thought now that we are getting married, our 2 hearts are becoming 1 and our special day should be the number two.
