About Weddings offers an innovative and refreshing
approach to the local directory concept. With an emphasis on refined
search, we quickly and efficiently deliver the right bride to the
right vendor. With the search capabilities provided, couples don't
have to sift through hundreds of ad images and flashing banners
to find their ideal vendor. They simply choose a category, refine
their search and select the right vendor for their event. It's fast,
efficient and provides a positive experience for our primary users,
the bride and groom.
We capture the to-be-weds with exceptional content, thousands of
image ideas and customized planning tools, but our primary objective
is to continually direct them to the local sites and services. That's
why you'll see drop-down bars from virtually every page in the site,
giving our couples immediate access to local sites and services.

In addition to appearing at the very top of the local category
search, the special VP icon draws immediate attention to your
listing & link, indicating there's definitely more to
see. The VP icon links to a unique Vendor Profile pop-up that
includes contact info, up to 10 images, 150 words of copy,
Map Quest directions and of course, web and email links. Additional
features include streaming video and flash.
